kindred spirits

I recently started a "Kindred Spirits" board on Pinterest to document individuals who inspire me in certain ways whether it be through style or personality or the way they've lived their lives. This picture is my latest addition and it shows an absolutely glowing Julie Andrews circa 1950. It reminds me of a quote from another very stellar person who I look up to who said, "never suppress a generous thought." In that same vein, Julie is telling me here, "never suppress a kind smile. Let your spirit shine." Don't you see happiness in her smile? That's the smile I'd like to see more often and one I should not suppress.
